Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Dal Pakodi Chaat:
- For Pakodi
- 1/2 cup Chana Dal
- 1/2 cup Urad Dal
- 1/2 cup Moong Dal
- 3-4 green chillies
- 1 medium onion chopped fine
- 1 ginger chopped fine
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- Few curry leaves
- Some coriander leaves
- 2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- As Per Taste Salt
- As Required Oil to fry
- For Aamchur chutney
- 1 cup Aamchur powder
- 2.5 cups hot water
- 2 Tbsp roasted cumin powder
- 2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 cup sugar
- as per taste Salt
- For Dahi
- 1 cup Dahi
- 3 Tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp black salt
- For Green Chutney
- 1 sprig coriander leaves
- Few mint leaves
- 1 ginger chopped
- 3-4 garlic cloves chopped
- 4-6 green chillies
- As Required Ice
- For garnish
- As Required Chutneys, Dahi, pomegranate seeds and coriander & mint leaves
Instructions to make to make Dal Pakodi Chaat
- For Dal Pakodi - soak all Dals separately for 3 hrs, drain and add to blender.
- Add coarsely chopped onion to the blender, green chilies, chopped ginger, salt, cumin seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, curry leaves, and black pepper powder, and add little water, make a coarse paste, add to a bowl.
- Add baking soda to the batter and mix well. The battery is ready. In a wok heat adequate oil, wet your four fingers, and take a small ball of batter, add it to the oil, add 3-4 and fry golden in medium flame. Set aside. Pakodi is ready
- For Aamchur chutney - in a pan boil water, add Aamchur powder, mix to avoid lumps, add sugar, red chili powder, salt, black pepper powder, and roasted cumin powder, whisk well, set aside to thicken when it cools,
- For sweet Dahi - beat the Dahi, add sugar, salt, and black salt, and whisk well. Sweet Dahi is ready
- For Green Chutney - in a blender add coriander leaves, mint leaves, chopped ginger, chopped green chilies, and ice, and blend smooth, and set aside. Chutney is ready
- For Assembling - place sweet Dahi, Pakodi, drizzle sweet Dahi on top, Aamchur chutney, Green chutney, and pomegranate seeds, and enjoy 😊
